Carlisle Cathedral- Labyrinth Project
Children across the school have enjoyed designing and decorating our tile for Carlisle Diocese's Labyrinth Project. The Cathedral’s Schools’ Labyrinth is an innovative art project that has brought together the creative skills of children from more than 60 Cumbrian schools under the theme of ‘Journey and Rest’ which lie at the heart of the cathedral’s 900th anniversary programme. Through the creation of unique labyrinth tiles, school's across the diocese were able to represent the lives and experiences of the children across the county. This Schools’ Labyrinth was installed in the Cathedral's recently refurbished Fratry Hall. It was wonderful to be a part of a project that focussed on togetherness following a few years of forced separation.
Year 6 Leavers Service- Carlisle Cathedral
Each year since 2019, our Year 6 pupils have enjoyed joining children from across the county to participate in the Diocesan Year 6 Leavers Service at Carlisle Cathedral.
