Welcome to Langdale Church of England School

I feel extremely privileged to be headteacher of such an amazing community focused school. I hope our school website gives you a snapshot into the learning experience at Langdale and captures why Langdale school is such a special place.

We are very proud of our unique and idyllic school setting here in the heart of the Lake District National Park, less than 5 miles from the town of Ambleside. 

In partnership with parents, staff and governors, all children learn, grow and develop to achieve their true potential. The use of the distinctive environment that surrounds our school forms an integral part of school life here at Langdale. 

We encourage feedback from parents and the wider community, and visitors are always warmly welcomed into our school.
