It is important that all children complete a balance of subjects across the week. It is also useful to set a routine with built in break times and plenty of opportunities for children to go outside for some fresh air.

Cumbria Library offer free ebooks and audio books through BorrowBox.
Teach your Monster to read is a fun, free online game to help engage children with using their phonetic knowledge to independently read words.
Handwriting:
Oxford Owl offer some top tips for expected handwriting levels for each age group, alongside some useful handwriting practice activities.
Spelling, punctuation and grammar:
All children have a unique login to SPaG.com. Miss Ashcroft regularly monitors each child's progress on this website and updates all children's accounts with new SPaG tests and activities to complete.
Maths:
At Langdale, all classes follow White Rose Scheme of work. This scheme outlines learning outcomes for children, many of which can be taught at home.
All children also have individual logins for Times Table Rockstars.
History:
BBC have lots of online resources (videos, games, quizzes, reading materials etc) which focus on different historical events/ figures.
Art: Drawing, painting, creating, designing... The website Artful Parent has hundreds of creative, accessible art activities to complete at home.
PE: If you are inside use Go Noodle to learn new dance routines, calming/ mindfulness exercises, yoga poses and more!
