School Vision and School Values
Langdale CE Primary School Vision
Our vision is to provide all children and adults with opportunities to aspire and become confident, lifelong learners in an ever-changing world. We are the heart of the community where 'Every Child is valued. No one left behind'. In the spirit of John (10:10), We share Jesus' vision to experience "Life in all its Fullness". We offer a school which is inclusive, with respect and compassion at its core. Diversity is celebrated within our school community and further afield and the opportunities for learning beyond the classroom is an approach encompassed alongside our shared values so that children can enjoy the natural world and all of God's creations. We enable learners to collaborate with others allowing individual skills, talents, interests and beliefs to flourish.
Every Child is Valued. No one left behind.
Our core Christian values of Compassion, Respect, Perseverance, Aspiration, Trust and Thankfulness, enable our entire school community to learn whilst feeling safe, happy and valued.
These values mean that our school is a place where learners are able to flourish and experience God’s wonderful world in all its fullness.
“Education in its broadest sense is not just about delivering a curriculum. It is about giving children the chance to extend their life skills. It is about developing their confidence. It is about fostering their resilience and sense of responsibility.
And – let us not forget – it is about the enjoyment, engagement and excitement of venturing out into the real world, with all its capacity for uncertainty, surprise, stimulation and delight.”
