This year our remote learning in the event of absence due to self-isolation or school closure and much of our weekly home learning for Key Stage 1 and 2 children is via Microsoft Teams. Each child has an email address and password for Microsoft Office 365 which they can use to access Teams and other useful tools such as the online version of Word or PowerPoint. Once logged into Teams children can view the Assignments they have been set find links to useful documents or websites and chat to their teachers. Teachers are able to see who has logged in to view the work and who has completed tasks as there is an expectation that home learning will be completed regularly. If you need support with the work or are having any trouble logging into your child's account please contact the administrator and she will pass on your message to the appropriate teacher.

The children in the Early Years Class have an online learning journal called Tapestry. School staff will regularly post observations about the learning that is happening in the class often including photos and videos of the children. Each parent has access to this so they can share in their child's new experiences and learning achievements. Parents are also able to post observation of their own of their child's learning at home which becomes part of the journal. The remote learning is posted as Activities with links to useful documents, videos or websites. Parents can also communicate with the class teacher via the memo function.

Each class has a remote learning page on the website. On it are links to educational websites which the school subscribes to and other free learning websites chosen by the teacher. These can be used to support your child's learning at home, as homework or on the first day of self-isolation or school closure.
